The Need for a Video
To expand the public’s narrow perception about the JIBC to attract more students, investors, and donors.
“We Change Lives, But Don’t Just Take Our Word For It.”
The JIBC had a distinct image problem; people still thought they only trained police. In truth they have 50,000 students and offer extremely progressive degree, diploma, and certificate programs.
An action-packed movie trailer format with student, alumni, and staff interviews.
Using the RED Cam, we shot for 6 days to capture JIBC’s intense real-life training scenarios for firefighters, paramedics, crisis workers, police, and more.
Justice Institute of British Columbia (JIBC) is unique among post-secondary institutions in Canada with a mission to develop dynamic justice and public safety professionals through its exceptional applied education, training and research.
A key strength of the JIBC’s Centre for Applied Research is our direct link to the communities we serve. Members of the JIBC faculty are active as practitioners, researchers, and contributors within their communities of practice.
Their academic and professional backgrounds support our unique perspective on issues of social justice and public safety. Our faculty’s works have led to policy change, increased public awareness of critical issues, enhanced curriculum, and effective implementation of innovative educational methods and technologies
