Red Truck Groundbreaking Ceremony Video Production by Red+Ripley Team in 5k!

The Need for a Video

To capture a once-in-a-lifetime event and have a final video ready immediately to share with the press.

“That’s why we keep our beer simple”

At a ceremony with 5,000 people, Big Rock planned to drop a truck from 60ft in the air at the site of their future Big Rock Brewery.

The Solution

A high-end event video production with a 24-hour turnaround. We covered the 5,000-person event with two DSLR cameras and a RED Epic.

The video was launched and acquired thousands of hits; overall the media exposure was something like 600k people in Vancouver. A successful event by 6S Marketing!

The Client

Red Truck Beer is built on the values of a simpler time, when bars served only beer and whiskey.

When trucks were working vehicles, not status symbols and a handshake was a contract, and all you needed for good times was a truck, some friends and some cold beers.

Two GoPros (wearable cameras used to shoot action sequences) were attached to the truck as it dropped; only one survived.
