UBC – Housing Action Plan Video Production by Red+Ripley Team in 5k!

The Need for a Video

To resolve an image problem by providing clear information about the controversial Gage South housing development at UBC.

“The opportunity to live and learn in residence is a remarkable one. It’s a place where students can participate in fun activities, build important life skills, and find support for academic or personal challenges.” —Janice Robinson, Director of Residence Life and Administration.”

A corporate film that is visually beautiful and easy to follow. Multiple revisions were done until the final product perfectly reflected the message UBC wanted to get across.

The Client

Living in residence is a great way to immerse yourself in university life and take advantage of all of the services, activities, and events at UBC. Relax in modern housing, refuel at the many restaurants, eateries, and fair trade coffee shops, and explore UBC’s Vancouver campus from end to end.

The development ended up being zoned academic and will be used for more student learning space.

Red+Ripley team worked in a script that keeps the audience glued till the end of every video production they were creating.
